Default Has anyone painted there roll cage themselves?

I am painting my roll cage with Rustoleum gloss black and a high dollar brush, it looks "ok but I am gonna sand it down and apply a second coat with a roller. Can anyone tell me their experience such as;

1.) What type of paint?
2.) Apply with a roller or brush?
3.) How did it turn out?

Steve, you might try some POR-15 paint, seems alot more tough and it rust proofs as well. Many restoring companies use it on frames and suspension parts. I'm going to use it on my 12-bolt housing and suspension parts.
