Default Energy Suspension Motor Mounts

I have heard that the Energy Suspension motor mounts are so stiff that you can feel some engine vibration through the frame.

Anyone using them have any comments.

I used them on both my cars, and I did not find the vibration objectional. The LS engines idle so smooth that I cant even feel them running.

If you're worried about vibration, a lot of 1st gen F-body guys (non-LSX) run a poly mount on the drivers side and a rubber mount on the passenger side.

I run Energy Suspension four link mounts as engine mounts on my swap, they are polyurethane and pretty thin, I haven't run the car on the street but idling and playing in the garage it doesn't seem like vibrations are bad at all. Maybe if you were cammed or something, but I agree, the Ls1 runs pretty smooth in stock form.

Any LS F-Body guys done this? I could feel the engine in my steering when I had prothanes on both sides, so I took them out. This might be a better option.

I have the energy suspension mounts in mine with a stock rubber trans mount. No problems. I have a Nova/Camaro front clip.
