Default Help....Will 93-02 wheels/tires fit on a 82-92 Trans am?

I'm selling my American Racing TTM's. They came off my '96 SS. There is an interested buyer, but needs to know if they will fit the 82-92 Trans-Am body. Will they? If not, what would he need to get them to fit?

Like regular 5/8" spacers...the same that I use to get my Pro Stars to fit my '02?? Or are we talking a different type of spacers?

If you search www.thirdgen.org you can get the exact specs for the spacers. If I rememeber they cost about $200, when I was looking to put 4th gen wheels on my old Formula

Swap the rearend from a fourth gen and you can run the rear wheels with no problems(obviously). Then you will only have to get spacers for the front

So in short, the spacers to fit 93-02 wheels on a 3rd gen are meant to push the wheels out toward the outside of the car so they fit. Right?
