Pressure test coolant system; need to remove thermostat???

Default Pressure test coolant system; need to remove thermostat???

I want to pressure check my coolant system ; I've got a buddy who's got a pressure tester, but I'm wondering... would I need to remove the thermostat to properly test the system??

No problem, pump it up to the caps pressure rating and Viola!

pressure will reach both sides of the stat. Go for it as-is.
