Buying my first LS1
Hey, what's up everyone? I'm not really new to the site, but I do have few posts. I am in the process of purchasing Redy2Go WS6's 2000 Trans Am. It is a beautiful ride, and he has been excellent in dealing with me since I am over here in Iraq. This site has been more than helpful for knowlege when I was looking for what I wanted. The car should be picked up on the 13th, my dad is going to go get it for me, he is a seasoned dirt track racer and is pretty excited as well. It was kind of a pain getting all of the loan stuff done from over here, but in the end it all came through quite well. We were both sad to see my 96 TA go, but I think this car will be a worthy replacement. So thanks ls1tech, I'm sure I'll be posting more on what mods I want to accomplish soon.

Thanks 1badA3Z. I should be home from overseas April sometime, and am really looking forward to getting it out on the road and also doing some of my own modifications. I think a 12 bolt and a D1SC are in its future.

Thanks for the replies! I hope everything goes smooth with your car shipping over there. I am personally not a fan of painted wheels either, although these accent the car perfectly. Hopefully there are some car shows going on around my area when I am home, I'd really like to show that and my dad and mine's '55 Dodge Truck, with a ladder bar under the back, front end from an '86 chrysler stuffed with a 383.
