Default New TSP Cam Goes 400rwhp With LS1 Intake!

I'm still pumped about this new cam

We decided to try a new reverse split just to see how much hp we could get out of a ls1 intake car. The car is currently running the ls1 intake until the customer saves up some cash money to buy a ls6 intake. Here are the cars specs:

00 Z28 M6
LS1 Intake
TSP Air Box
Hooker Catback
312rwhp

After
TSP 232R Camshaft
Hooker Long Tubes
LS1-Edit Tuning

Remember this is still with a ls1 intake, NO pulley, NO ported T.B., Stock MAF, Stock Heads. I can't wait to throw a ls6 intake & Patriot Heads on the Cam

Enjoy

Looks great, but the dyno chart doesn't even start until 3500 rpm. For my street driven car I'm interested in what happens 1500 rpm lower than that. I.e. at what point does it cross the stock curve?

Gotta be an M6! Willing to test this puppy out on an A4 if you need a little more research done

Awesome #'s !!!

Definitely interested in the specs on this cam

I would love to see how it would perform in an LS6 intak'd, 3800 stall converter'd A4...which is what I have. I have yet to decide on heads tho. More than likely they will be LS6 that are P&P'ed.

232 228 588 588 on a 112 I hope to try it on some uncut Patriot heads pretty soon

wow.

I'd like to see you do it in steps. Add the intake first, redyno, then add the heads.

I hope I can get that out of the 231/237 TSP cam. I already have the ls6 intake.

Its been driving fine around town with the tuning. Tuning plays a major factor in making a cam likeable. I did have to drill the TB blade slightly larger, but not big like we had to do in the old days before LS1edit. It only took 2 WOT street blasts to hurt the stock clutch, although looking back at the dyno graph it looks like it may have been slipping right at the beginning anyways...

To tell you the truth, we would have been happy with 380rwhp. In about a month or so he's going to add the pulley and a LS6 intake w/ported TB.

Hmm, this has gotten me to thinking...

What about a 228/232 .588 .588 110?? I think it might extend the peak hp point a little...

Good #'s but needs 7200 rpm shift points and a 5200 converter to see full benefits
