I have a carbon fiber lid, and it fits very snug all around the air box. No fitment complaints here.

My two carbon fiber MTI lids fit great, I've seen first hand SLP & Whisper lids not fitting so great.

BTW - MTI owner Jason Cohen invented the LS1 f-body lids.

Peace,
Craig.

I ordered my clear lid... but now im questioning their delivery... I ordered it on 1/9/08 and it has still not arrived wanted it for my b-day but didn't receive it. I know they are located in houston and Im in Dallas so it should not of taken that long for delivery. I work in shipping and spoke with a guy from UPS he said if its coming UPS ground it should not take more than 2 days.... just wondering how long did you guys wait?

If you ordered it on the 9th it probably wasnt shipped until the 10th. Problems could have come up because we all know how great UPS is .... I would give it at least a week. I ordered mine and it got here in about 6 business days but im in Alabama.

Every SLP lid I've ever seen rubs the underside of hoods.

Peace,
Craig.
