Default ss hood

Ok, I know I am going to sound like a total newb, but what are your guys' thoughts on this hood?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ksid=p3907.m29

Does it seem too good to be true to you guys too? Thanks.

i noticed a 98.4% trader rate...check their feedback and see what negatives there is....it does seem a lil fishy to me...because $550 for the hood and prepainted....the only other site that i know of that does that, sales the hoods for $1200+...i would suspect cheappp fiberglass with a third rate paint.....but hell i could be wrong

yea
i have been debating those hoods.....hell there are some at 275.00 buy it now with like 150.00 for shipping and that seems really fishie to me.....but who knows.....my brother got one off ebay for a lt1 car and it was really nice.....just a little prep work and sanding, and painting blah blah
it turned out good....
like he said check the trader rating and other comments.......i ebay a lot....i also email the company and ask for a shop phone number.......if they give one but the person who answers the phone doesnt speak any english.......then i would be scared

Aren't you supposed to fit the new hood first, THEN paint it?
