Default Best Grounding Point under dash?

what do you folks like to use?

I think I have a grounding issue and want to redo my wiring for the various accessories.

Looking for the consensus on the best place to ground guages, shift light, etc... that sort of stuff.

I grounded my radar detector on one of the screws underneath the panel underneath the steering wheel.

There are factory ground points below the dash on each side behind the kick panels.
