LS376 + Edelbrock twin carb?

Default LS376 + Edelbrock twin carb?

I'm waiting on seeing the price of the new LS376, 515hp, carb motor (http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/En...1225&engCat=ls) from GM to put in my 68 vette.
I see edelbrock now edelbrock is selling a twin carb LS1 manifold, 2 500cfm carbs, linkage, ignition module package (PN 20684, http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...old_kits.shtml).
The 2 500cfm carbs are about right for 500hp, it's a nice looking package, and the price is pretty good, considering you get the ignition module.
I've asked Edelbrock if they can substitute the 58X reluctor module and if the manifold fits the LS3 heads, still waiting on an answer.
Anyone ese see any issues with this setup?

The L92 heads have a shorter, and broader, intake port...so a standard LS1/LS2 intake manifold will not match the ports.

However, I'm pretty jazzed that GMPP is making the LS3 in a carb crate motor!!

But doesn't GMPP and Edelbrock sell the same single plane carb manifold for both the LS1 and LS2 based L364?
If it cant be used with the LS2 and 3 based engines, edelbrock is missing a gret opportunity. A 500+hp twin carb motor that weighs less than a small block. Add motor mounts and headers and this would be a great small or big block replacement package.
