Default Possibly swtiching to LS6 cam, springs necessary?

Will I need the LS6 springs if I switch to an LS6 cam? My engine is completely stock internally.

...not absolutely necessary but highly recommended....besides, they are not that costly...

...a better spring choice would be the comp cams 918s ...very popular for cam swaps...

have you considered a bigger stick....the gm hot cam is nice and gives more power than a stock zo6 cam...the kit comes with new springs...

I don't think the hotcam is emissions friendly in CA. I would think I would need the new springs to take the extra useful RPM the LS6 cam offers. Correct me if I'm off on any of those.
