Leaner and meaner
Over the last two days hopefully I got a little closer to my goal....11s with the stock cam.
I found a guy that I traded my stock LS6 intake for his TPIS modified LS6 intake. The intake is modified for a 90mm TB. I bought the TB from him. So I'm thinking that may add 10ish HP up top. I probably know I won't see as big of a gain as a lot of you with big cubes and big cams, but it can't hurt.
On the leaner side, while I had the intake off, I was able to get rid of the AIR injection tube and went ahead and took out the AIR pump too. Probably cut out all of 10 or 15 pounds.
Now I just need to get a lighter battery and work on the tunning a little.
Oh, I also noticed some oil in the intake manifold, so I hooked up my "oil catch" that I had used on my Formula....hopefully that will stop the oil from getting into the intake.
