Default Painting Plastic !! ?? !!

I know there have been lots of threads on this i am sure, but i want to know exactly how i should go about painting plastic, such as the intake, and another part under the hood.... Needing instruction please and tips would be helpful also!! Thank you!

i painted my intake. used some flex additive as a base, then primer for plastic, then went over it with some duplicolor that came close to matching pewter, then cleared it 3 or 4 times with some hi temp clear.

try your local autozone..... i think we carry something in a can that helps paint adhear(sp?) to plastic. But I am gunna have to double check on that in the morning b/c I was told this by a fellow AutoZoner.
