Default Anyone with SLP LT'S

is there anyone with slp longtubes that can chime in and tell me typically what the gains are from these headers.cuz im just hearing a lot of different things and was wondering if anyone with them has made decent power from these.

Anyone that says they suck is just jumping on the bandwagon... try a set for yourself before you listen to people with other brands. Some shops swear by SLP, others hate them... Ive had mine for over a year with no problems other than a little scraping on the ground. I may change them out someday but im making plenty of power and the majority of shops that see them see no reason to change to anything else. Also keep in mind peak dyno numbers mean nothing... SLP also has a great Y-pipe while the majority go into a 2 inch bottleneck in the Y, SLP keeps it at a 3 inch dual all the way back! Lastly, the fitment is PERFECT while other brands deal with banging and problems! You have to figure SLP deals with the SS cars more than anyone else so im sure they have some kind of knowledge on how to make power with these things!

Dont all tong tubes scrape? No matter how much R&D a company does, LT headers are still gonna scrape.

I have SLP's on my car and even though its not lowered i've never had them to scrape on anything.. they were a pain to put on though...but they did help.. i've noticed the rear wheels spin a bit easier....SLP gets my vote on LT's

kinda late now, but I found unbolting the tranny mount makes the install cake, I had a buddy push the tranny to one side and the header slid right in!

I've been very happy with my slp's. Just look at my #'s from the bird. I think they say it all. Also I've never had a clearance issue, coating issue, nothing.

I've been very happy with mine. 25hp & 23ft-lbs gains from before and after dynos with no tuning. I ran them with the off-road y-pipe, so gains with cats may be a little smaller.

Like the way my set performs. Scrapes now and then though.

Yep, if they don't scrape then they're going to bang. If they dont bang the floorboard, then they scrape on speed bumps. Its a cruel and twisted world out there......

I have a set and they are long tube headers and you will see a performance gain but IMO they suck and I'm changing them next time I have the cash. If you want my opinion look into grots/QTP
