Couple of pics of lightly ported 317 heads
Before pics, I'm still going to get the machine shop to clean all the carbon out. I am aslo going to have them do a valve job with new 918 springs and seals. These heads are going to go on a mid boost set up 10-14 psi. I was going to put them on stock but just couldn't resist.
Now the after pics, I didn't want any real big changes I just wanted to clean them up a little, I have done a set of 241 heads before for a N/A project in the past.
Its hard to see but I took the hump out in the intake port, and I'm still going to polish up the exhaust port. So what do you guys think?

No chater marks after my second cut with a smaller less aggresive bit!!! I rought cut the entire head and then went over it a second time to clean up the cut marks. You think I should go with patriot gold dual springs? I'm going to go 346 forged pistons and maybe rods, with a pair of 57mm twins. I know they sound kinda small but I want low rpm boost!!!
