Question Clr

Has anybody ever heard of somebody using CLR on their coolant system? A friend ask me about it and I don't know!!! It is suppose to remove calcium, lime and rust but would it be safe or turn out to be the screwup from hell?

shouldnt ever have to try something like that....... just flush your coolant when it looks like its time to do so.

CLR is a household cleaner. If they wanted you to pour CLR into your radiator, they'd call it CLR Radiator Cleaner.

That product is made for cleaning skid marks off your toilet not your radiator...
