6.0L Build-up Question?
Based on reading this forum, it seems that you guys can only bore out a 6.0L to about 370-372 ci. This sounds like a lot of trouble and expense for only 6-8 additional ci's. Here is my question. Is it possible to bore and stroke the 6.0L to something larger, say 400 ci? This would be 6.0L truck engine that will go back into the truck.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Sonic test it before you bore it .060 over. 2 of my 6.0 blocks were too thin so I went with smaller pistons instead. I posted my sonic test results awhile back.

Can you do the .060 over on a stock block? Or do you have to sleeve it like the aluminum blocks? How much clearancing do you have to do on the block to clear the big crank? Is there any better years to look for to get the better 6.0 block?

Re: 6.0L Build-up Question?
What kind of power would a 4.030 bore X 4.075 stroke produce n/a? What would it make with 7 psi boost? Would this be a safe & reliable daily driver and towing engine? I don't want anything crazy. Just a mild build-up (without CSK!). Would the cam have to be changed also? Basically my goal is to eliminate the CSK and get a few extra horses for as little money as possible. What do you guys think I might be looking at?
Thanks again!
