Default How to Remove Parking/Running Lights on a Trans Am? Help!

How do you remove the parking/running/orange blinker lights on Trans Ams? I have a 99. I want to remove them and reseal them. Anyone know how to get them out?

There are two 10mm screws on each side holding a "trap door" closed underneath (directly under those lights). Open that trap door and you'll be able to see where the light socket screws into the housing. Simple push in and turn to release it from the housing. However, I've never heard of a way to "seal" the housing. The lense is usually what cracks and if you WERE to seal it ... you wouldn't like the way it looks anyway. If you decide to change them out .. Rockauto had them for about $25 ea.

I know how to change the lights. lol I am talking about taking the whole light and housing out. The whole thing. I heard you have to take your flip up lights out first. Anyone know?

Remove headlight bezel and with the lights up it should leave enough space for you to reach to them.

I just changed mine two days ago. Open the flaps underneath, two bolts (10mm) and a 7mm socket to remove two bolts per lamp.
