Bassani Tri-Y vs. QTP LT
I'm about ready throw down for some headers (yes I read the Read me first post).
I have a stock cube, H&C LSx. I use it on the street, but will use it some on the strip and AutoX.
I like the Tri-Y concept, but the LTs are the most popular. Basically I'm deciding between:
Bassani Tri-Y
QTP LT:
Any actual comparisons between Tri-Ys and LTs.

Theoretically, the tri-ys should have a torque advantage until around 4000 rpm, then the 4 into 1s should be better. For low-end grunt, it's tough to beat the tri-ys.

That's sort of what I thought too. I'm leaning a bit towards the LT. A torque hit in the lower revs ain't that big of a deal; there's plenty for cruising. But racing is racing and power is power. My idea is to be tame on the streets and vicious at the track/strip. My concern, particularly with the LT's is fitment. I wonder if the QTP's hug the block or really jut out; could interfere with the steering linkage in my C3 Corvette.
