i did a search and couldn't find any pictures. ive always wondered what it would look like on a 98-02

does anyone have this done? any pics?

I was actually thinking about this yesterday. . . I think the flat black scoop insert and flat black berger panel would look sick on a black ss.

yeah thats what i was thinking also and you can pick up a scoop insert for around 14 bucks so if it looks too bad its not a huge loss

yea I agree, I bet a flat black scoop insert along with a flat black berger panel would look sick. Semi-gloss probably wouldnt look too bad either

I have it on my car. It's an actual OEM 02 35th LE SS insert I picked up on ebay a few years ago now. You have to be at the right angle to even see that it's there. It stands out most in this pic from the Grand Rapids Autorama in 07 due to the indoor lighting.





It's barely noticeable here in bright sunlight:

Looks out of place IMO, looks much cleaner with no scoop insert, this goes for the 35LE's IMO as well....

i personally think it looks great and it would be more noticeable in person

to me it looks like it adds more depth to the ss scoop - just the white stripes take away from that in the first image
