Default what is the problem with my T56 ? B&M shifter ?

I got the B&M shifter,

first problem, when the car is cold the shifting becomes hard I think the word is notchy !! (like metal hitting metal) but after driving it becomes easier..

second , when i shift and still hold the **** I hear buzzing noise from the shifter but when I release my hand the noise goes ..

what could be the problems ?

I would think it is the tranny if shifting becomes easier once its warm because the shifter would not change because of temp's.

The buzzing part would be the shifter because you are putting weight on it.

These of coarse are just my thoughts and opinions.

My new short stick makes the same noise. I even hear it sometimes without having my hand on it, usually accelerating in 1st gear. I'm not sure exactly what causes it, but I don't think it's a problem.

the shifter noise is not a big issue... but what about the shifting ? why it becomes smoother after driving the car for few mintues ?? is it the fluid or something else ?

Forgive me guys for dragging up an old thread? but did you buzzing noise in 1st gear from the b&m ever go away? I just noticed yesterday that mine buzzes through the pedal and shifter(pedal mostly) at about 1000 rpm in 1st gear with the clutch full engaged and pedal out and when I'm letting the pedal out and it starts to engage the clutch.
Its driving me nuts, please update me on what you found, thanks.

shifter noise is not a problem.

But I have no idea what kind of buzzing you mean through the pedal !!
