Default New video's of the car running.

Got it back together and tuned. Still need a dyno though.

I completely changed my setup. I am now seeing about 11#'s of boost. Stock heads, 03 Z06 cam, stock manifolds, stock cats, SLP Y pipe, and Magnaflow cat back. When we tried to dyno it after the street tune, it would not grab on the dyno. The drum was cold, as the car, and tires. Instead of spending all day trying to get traction after trying for a few hours (we even tried 5 straps on the rear axle alone). I am seeing 10-11 lbs of boost hitting over 400RWTQ around 2500 RPM's, with my 3.89 gears and hitting boost so soon, my Nitto street tires could not keep it on the drum. On the street I start to skip a bit in the upper RPM's on the rear. I need to rethink my suspension. It runs, strong and throws me back a bit. You can see in the first vid of my brother trying his best to keep the camera from moving lol. During shifts you can see it throw the camera a bit. Beech Bend is opening in March so I am going to try to make it if I can find some tires for traction One thing, on the dyno. The graph was almost exact (overlaid on my previous 528/526 graph) up to 3000 before it start to get all jumpy. The graph looked like a EKG lol. Sure hard to say where it started and ended but we did grab a few times with peaks around 500 RWHP. All other variables are good to include IAT's Timing, A/F is around the low 11's to high 10's. When summer comes I will try and re-dyno it till then I may have a track time before then though.

Ran it threw a few gears. 1-3

The road started to end a little faster then I thought lol. Not many straight roads where I live You will notice my brakes work well

Nice vids. I hope we both can make it to beech bend. Just don't forget, I'm still on the 10 bolt so don't be too hard on me. I haven't been able to hear my car from the outside yet. The maggie doesn't sound very loud when I'm in the car. I wonder if it's as loud as yours outside the car??

It could be. I never realized how loud it was coming at you, and then you barely hear it after it passed lol. I gotta relook at my suspension setup. Its not right for this kind of power. If you look closely you can see my Y pipe in the second video damn near touch the ground from the torque of the motor when i punch it lol. I need my brother to make me a mount like he did for my dad.

Damon that sounds/looks awesome!!! I gotta get mine out for some vids. I found out that I had some loose PCV lines delaying the blower from coming in at the right rpm, got them fixed, now I need to check some AFR's and try to get the tune from your old setup working.

Yea it feels good to have alot of it done. Myself and Ed put alot of work into this setup. And I really want to thank Ed for all his hard work on this.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I was going ot try and make the track on the 1st in Bowlingreen, KY but I need surgery in the next few weeks so it seems if the car is not under the knife it seems like I am. Dunno how long it will be before I get behind the wheel once it happens.

Hey John long time since I heard from yea. Hope things are good down in sunny Florida. Sure as hell not sunny in this icy crap I am in. Will have to catch up one of these days.

How much of a cost difference is your blower setup compared to a normal blower setup?
That is hard to answer as there are so many kits. This kit is 6495.00 (non polished)for the entire kit with a pulley good for 7#'s. That is per the LM Speed website. Which includes the crank pinning kit, boost-a-pump (Magnavolt), and tune. I wanted torque so to me this was cheaper. If I wanted Peak HP the D1SC kit was my second option (APS was on hold at the time) and it was 6200.00 or so for the same stuff. Not for this kit from LM Speed I would have a D1 in my car right now. Use to have 2000 C5 with a P1 and a C6 with a maggie. If i lived out west in KS again, Procharger again. Here in the mountains and twisty backroads of KY. Maggie.

Once again thanks for your positive comments.
