Default rear seat delete

anyone guesstimate how heavy the rear seats are? would it make any difference if they are leather or cloth? thinkin bout taking those suckers out since no one sits in them anyway

yea did that earlier today i have 0 money to spend for mods right now so im trying to find some shortcuts to make it lighter

in drag tech it tells u exactly how much everything weighs. i took mine out just because i didnt want people to ride with me and it looks good like it was made that way, and its not to bad to ride back there still

I leave the spare and jack for a little traction until I get a tire. A tenth off the line is worth at least double on the big end.

I would think the rear seat would weigh abut 40 pounds. The seat back is actually pretty heavy.

i was thinking about just removing the seat back and leaving the little buckets if they will stay in place.

i hate it when people sit in my back seat it happens rarely but i always say somethin when it does. i hate driving more than myself if they weigh less than i do i can deal with it but if your fat... dude im sorry but your sacrificing power here... get out

If you're going to take them out, remove the seat belts as well. They weigh a fair bit too.

Actually it depends on the weight.. My 94' LT1 rear seat was twice as heavy as the on in my 01',,,
