Any idea where to get those strobe lights that police cars use in their headlights/tail lights.
I think they would be a crowd pleaser at the drag strip.

Strobes are alot of work and will cause alot of grief if you get caught. You need to drill the headlights to mount the bulbs. I have a Strobe kit on my car along with LED's inmy grill and dash....but I am a fire fighter. Otherwise they serve no purpose. You can find them on Ebay all the time though. Whelen or ABLE2 makes the kits. You have to deside on how many bulbs you wanna run and go from there. I run 6 total, one in each head light and corner light and one in each of the tail lights. For everything needed 4 blue strobe tubes, 2 clear, strobe controller, connectors and cables you are lookin @ around 300 plus install.

i got a whelen 660 i think. it came on a camaro my dad and i bought. it consists of 2 strobes on the bottom part of the headlight and 2 on the top part of the tailight. the controller itself can controll up to 6 strobes, has 10 programable patterns and a hi/low function. the tailights sometimes leak though... HPD installed them that why.

Right now I'm running a wig-wag setup:





and have a Whelen 690 with 6 light-heads going in along with 2 red Whelen LIN3's

Just make sure you don't get caught running them on the street, believe it falls under Impersonating An Officer.

theres a b4c car for sale behind my house and it has warped spots on the taillights from where the strobes got hot and melted the housing. just a warning.
