Default Do I need a vacuum canister?

Whats up guys,

I'm just wondering if I'll need to run a vacuum canister for my power brakes when I (hopefully) get my new cam. It's a Comp Xtreme Energy hydraulic roller. 224/230 .535"/544" 110 LSA. Mods in sig...I'll post any other info you guys need. Thanks in advance!

You'll be fine. I only pull 11" hg at idle with my 383 and don't have any problem with power brakes.

I had a problem with vacuum and put a canister in...didn't do squat. I'm probably gonna hae to go to a vacuum pump. Let me know what works for you.

I built what is bascally a ZZ3 "clone" with 10.6:1 compression (and those same heads) and I'm running a 220/230 .510/.510 on a 114 roller cam and I have no issues with my power brakes and this is an autocross car. You have a touch more lift, and sligtly more intake duration, but I'm going to guess that you'll be ok.
