im toying with the idea of doing an ls motor and a 6 speed in my 98 grand cherokee. im not to concerned with the swap im confident i can do it, but what do you guys do for emissions. since there will be a gm computer in it when they plug it in wont it read wrong in the sticker database?

Depending on where you are, you may have to also take in to consideration that most states require that any donor motor be the same year as the vehicle or newer. Not sure where you are from since you've omitted that from your profile, but there are additional restrictions in some states.

If you are from CA or AZ then there are other considerations.
