Default Exhaust

I believe I am goin to get the WS6, it black on black, T-Top car with an M6, I would like to know what exhaust you guys run, and what sounds the best, I had SLP on my GT and loved it

But i been doing some searching, I think the true dual exhaust with Spintechs is my favorite, anyone run this, or have a good clip of it, have only found short clips. Thanks.

i think the top exhaust systems you'll hear recommended are as followed (in no particular order):

GMMG, Corsa, Borla, Magnaflow

what kind of sound are you going for?

check out ls1sounds.com and youtube

TSP true duals or a dual cutout system or single before the muffler. GMMG is great but damn its expensive. Try Ls1sounds.com for a ton of sound clips with different setups

Get longtube headers with an h pipe and flowmaster 1 chambers. only the 1 chambers though because most of the other flowmasters do not flow as well as they should

I don't get the true duals, do you just get an X or H and throw it on after the headers, or does it have to be special mid pipe, then a special catback

I like the sound of the spintech, but really like the sound of true duals, Dr Gas being the X of choice.

Damnn this is much harder than stangs, ha

well usually when people get duals it is when they get longtube headers also. but there are some kits like bassani or texas speed there is also getting some custom made. see f bodies were never made to have dual exhaust so it is not as easy as with mustang

Deff the true duals. If my car hadn't come with the SLP exhaust from the factory, I would have true duals.

i have borla on my 01 formula and its opened up all the way...it sounds mean as hell! resonance in the cabin is minimal...noticeable in get up and go...not louder than the radio at cruising speeds...but def turns heads when u get on it. cant go wrong with the million mile warranty either. it also looks mean as hell...i went with d/d ovals. ill get pics asap
