Default Hello Everyone

Hello. My name is Chris. I'm from SW Iowa, a mechanic by profession, and tinkering with cars - making them go fast, has always been my hobby. I've been lurking around the forum for quite some time and decided to register. I have been very interested in the Gen III and Gen IV motors recently. I'm getting a very good idea on how I want to build my first engine. This platform of engines seems to have a lot of possibilities. I can't wait to learn more from this site.

Thanks! I'm waiting on a pair of L92 heads I got a really good buy on. Then tomorrow, purchase a really low mileage complete LQ4. I'm planning on putting the engine in a 1970 Malibu. I don't need a really extreme setup, but something that will put out a lot of good naturally aspirated power. There seems to be a lot of possibilities with these engines. Makes the old Chevy small block seem obsolete.
