FS: Kenwood 25th Anniversary Head Unit XXV-01D
I am upgrading to a Double Din DVD Unit in my truck so I am looking to sell my Kenwood. It is model number XXV-01D. This probably the best Kenwood head unit I have ever used and I have had 7 top of the line Kenwoods over the years. Here are the specs from Kenwoods site.
CD receiver with built-in amplifier (22 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels)
detachable, motorized, fold-down face with customizable graphics
Organic Electroluminescent (OEL) display
plays CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, including discs loaded with MP3s, WMAs, and AAC files (copy-protected AAC files bought through iTunes™ will not play)
AC Drive allows system to provide spoken announcement of MP3 and WMA file names
Graphic Motion Analyzer displays vehicle performance specs
System Q EX sound controls
4-band parametric EQ
SRS WOW with three settings for wide soundfield, enhanced bass, and soundstage focus
specially designed power supply capacitors for superior audio performance
high-quality oxygen-free copper cables on preamp outputs and auxiliary input
Installer Memory recalls audio settings
SIRIUS Satellite Radio-ready
HD Radio-ready (offers improved AM/FM reception and sound quality, available in select areas)
compatible with Kenwood iPod control interface
CD changer controls
5-volt, gold-plated front, rear, and subwoofer preamp outputs
dual-zone audio control sends different signals to the front and rear speaker outputs
CR-2 tuner
18 FM/6 AM presets
wireless remote
clock
frequency response: 10-20,000 Hz
CD signal-to-noise ratio: 110 dB
FM sensitivity: 9.3 dBf
This head unit has amazing sound and features to it. The menus and equalizer settings can be a little intimidating at first if you dont have much experience with car audio but if you stick with it it is definetly worth it. It has hands down the best sound quality of any unit on the market today. This unit new when they first came out cost right at $550.00. When Crutchfield had their blowout on these you could get one for $399.00. It is in perfect working order and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I even have the original box and manuals for it. I am looking to get $300.00 shipped. I will post some pics later or you can see it on Crutchfields site. Just type in Kenwood XXV-01D in the search box on their site. You can not buy anything that compares to this unit for anywhere near this price. This is one heck of a deal. Feel free to PM me with questions. Thanks.
