need opinion.
ok well today i was driving home and my impala turned off and i was its the damm opti and i checked it and sure enough there was a shitload of oil on it from the shaft that powers the water pump it was leaking. so i was wondering can i just replace that seal and put a ewp? or do i have to take the shaft off and block it off. and since the opti has oil inside do i have to get a new one or can i just get a new cap and rotor? thanks for your time!

the EWP warning kit would be from Spartus on ISSF. the seal for the waterpump you can get at autozone. But you need a special tool or appropriate sharpie pen cap to install the seal or you'll rip it and it will leak again. I plan on making the seal tool, just need to send the drawing to the friend with the CNC machine.
You can prolly clean the inside of the opti out with the appropriate electrical cleaner. Prolly can just get a new cap and rotor.
