From what I can tell the signal wire on the Oil Pressure sensor never goes to the PCM. So I'm wondering on a conversion swap not using a factory cluster is there anyway to be able to see oil pressure in a logger?

True, ok really what I am after is being able to view it through the OBDII port. I'm not seeing any way to do this but thought I might ask?

You need a Corvette oil pressure sensor and you can pin that to the PCM it has an extra wire. I'm not sure on all the details, but it can be done.

Here is some more from a PM 99c5vert sent me:

I bought a sensor for a 99 vette. They may all be the same.

The A/C pressure sensor connector on the Camaro harness was the same exact connector. It just plugged in.

I didn't have to do any programming changes. All I had to do to make the readings was read the PID with HPTuner scanner, and make up an equation.

I don't remember what I put in for the equation, but it was very straight forward. If the sensor is either 0 or 5 volts, that translates to 128 PSI, and it's a linear function. i.e. 0-5V = 0-128PSI or 5 to 0V = 0-128 PSI.

What color is the signal wire (99 harness)? I want to tap into it for an aftermarket gauge.

On a 99 harness you cannot tap in, the 99`s are supposed to use a serial data signal. Plus even if it used a regular resistance signal it would probably not be the same range as the aftermarket gauge sender. You need to put the correct sending unit for your gauge in the extra hole in the passenger side head.
