I've searched here and the other site and no luck w/ pics. My question is has anyone put a TNT or any kind of 10lb bottle between the rear seats? I want to do it because of the fact that a remote opener will not work on the TNT bottle, but I am not sure what it will look like. How did you hide the the lines, filter, etc...?

an older GMHTP has a black ss w/ a bottle between the rear seats, pretty pimp, but not very concealable.

Seen that one when I put in my bottle thats probly where Ill install mine no need for a remote opener and you dont need a pressure guage on the dash.

I had my bottle there for about a year. It was great, but had to move it when i put my cage in.

i currently have my 10Lb bottle there, and if i want to run a 15lb, i can remove the rear upright seats and fit the bigger bottle. i love it there. i can take soem pics and post then up if you want. Due to the slope of the floor pan there, i used a peice of aluminum and made a riser to bolt the brackett to, this way i coul dget th eproper angle on the bottle, and also fit either size. I have a buddy that has his 10 pounder between the back seats. He also cut out the bottom of a gym bag and slips it over the bottle. That way, it just looks like he has a bag in the back seat. Pretty cool, if you ask me.

My 10lb NX bottle is installed where the passenger side rear seat bottom was. I even used the exposed metal flange to mount the front bottle bracket (by drilling two holes).

I just glance down and to the right to read my pressure gauge and no need for a bottle opener. If it looks like I'm up against some heavy competition I flick the bottle heater on, reach down and unscrew the valve and I'm ready!

BTW, I have a cardboard box from "Staples" that happens to be sitting in my backseat. If anyone asks, I just say I'm brining something home from the office. In reality, the bottom is cut out and it sits kinda nicely over the bottle. Those are the best office supplies I've ever had!

I mounted mine behind the rear seat while the fuel tank was out. I can reach it driving down the road. And still have use of my rear seat IF i ever decide to put them back it wich i doubt.
Another Tip i bought some Cheapo floor mat's from Wallyworld and tucked them under the existing carpet where the rear seat hols are. Then just tucked the access carpet folding under. It doesnt look factory but 100% better than bare metal look.

I just installed a bottle between the rears for a friend. It's a great place for it. He can open the bottle and see the pressure just by turning slightly. No one can see it, because he just uses it... no parking and being ghey with other racers. He's just out there kicking the poop out of the posers.

It works!
