Default food for thought

the lsx based cars have had some problems with the slave over heating due to lack of air movement inside the bellhousing. what if you vented the top of the bellhousing and the bottom so cooler air could travel up through the bell housing forcing the hotter air coming off the clutch heating the slave.

Not a bad idea. Apparently the new Quicktime bellhousing has a vented top. If you vent the bottom I'd be worried about water getting in there. Even the venting on the top may have been done for race-only. Maybe somebody with one can post up experiences--although they are probably too new for the time being.

Come up with a venting scheme that precludes water ingress and you have a good idea.
