I have a 2002 SS with 49k miles on it. My SES light keeps coming on. When we hook it up to AutoTap the code is: P1415 - secondary air injectin diverter valve B.

Can someone please tell me what part this is so I can buy it, replace it and clear the code? I would take it to the dealer but my extended warranty does not cover emmissions.

It sounds like the valve on the passanger side is bad. They will tend to rust thru on occasion. I am not at work with access to Alldata but I believe that is what it is. Very inexpensive to buy simple to replace. They are black and will be in line with the air system coming off the exhaust manifolds. It is threaded pipe into one end slip on hose on the other. Hope this helps.

Yeah, the check valves can clog or malfunction letting air through the wrong way. You may need a new check valve, Autozone for $10-$20.
