ROTC questions anyone here involved with the ROTC or been in it? Whats it like? what kinda commitment do i owe? Is it a smart idea to be an officer even if its a 2nd LT? Are ROTC people respected/viewed any differently than non ROTC participants?

would you say that its completely worth it? to be in the army and all?
What about my car? Are they aloud on base? what kinda commitment do i owe? or do i need to ask my officer on campus about that?
