Honestly it sounds like the clutch isn't fully released when you shift it into reverse. Maybe it is still slightly grabbing, therefore putting enough of a load on the motor enough to stall it. I don't see how shifting a 6 spd into reverse could cause it to stall otherwise.

This has been happening ever since I installed this combo in my 67 Camaro. It doesn't happen when cold. (So clutch not disengaging, I doubt) You can here a slight dip in RPM and then it recovers. But, when at operating temp, it dips and can't recover unless I tap the throttle while shifting to reverse. I do have a VSS code right now, but haven't investigated it yet. It probably has to do with splicing the VSS line for my autometer speedo.
