Default Pushrod length questions

I am putting a stock 02-04 z06 camshaft into my 02 6.0 LQ4 engine. Anybody know what the pushrod length should be? The engine is all stock, no head shaving or anything like that. Also, is the base circle different from the two camshafts(z06 to the LQ4)?? Any help would be appreciated.

I know the base circle on the Z06 cam is smaller than the LS1, though I can't remember by how much. GM made up the difference by using longer valves. If the LQ4 base circle is the same as the Z06, then you can use stock length. Otherwise, you will need to use slightly longer ones. Best thing to do is get a pushrod length checker to be sure.

The base circle is slightly smaller, but its not enough to worry about changing the pushrods. Use the stock length.
