Unless you plan on having the Patriots ported, I would not get them

just looked at prc heads and they look pretty good. i especially like the 5.3 stg.2 heads. they look fitted with good quality hardware and have great lift #'s for the price. i'm starting to get into the 5.3 heads, before i was into the ls6 heads, but i don't like the idea of the larger runners that they have and it seems that there to big for a little 346ci when running a 224/224 cam. the 5.3 have smaller runners that will give me better lower/mid range power than ls6 heads, and they bump up the compression of my car. looks like a good head.

if you get ported ls6 heads they are all gonna be 243's no matter who ports them. 5.3 heads will either be a 862 or 706 casting

I had stage 1 Livernois heads with a 224/228 114 cam and made 420 RWHP / 390 RWTQ.
