TnT power ring still have fitment problems?
Im planning on buying the upgrade kit (without bottle and mainline) and want to know if the ring will seal correctly. Should I buy this directly from TNT to make sure over the phone? I keep reading about people who had to jbweld or seal it with something. I don't want to do this. Whats up with that. Oh and i know about the pain with the lid and bellows.

Yup. I installed a TnT for my friend. The power ring is junk. IF it can be installed, it creates a situation where the lid opening and the "power-thing" opening are completely misaligned, causing a large percentage of the air inlet to be blocked off. Just look at the pics on the latest GMHTP. It's a joke.
I used JB Weld and installed the jets downstream of the MAF sensor. It works just fine and the NA performance isn't degraded like with the TnT installation.
Ditch it!

Do you think it's worth it to buy the kit? I do like the nozzles but not for 400 beans! Should I possibly get the nx maf kit?

After applying my 185 lbs. and my dads 250 lbs. to the power ring we finally got the damn rubber seal to go around the TB. What a bitch to do. But everything else went fine. Used my LS1 Motorsports Lid and their Bellows and just shaved the Bellows a little and it worked out great.
