Default Standard LS1 t56 trans with CTS-V clutch?

I'm close to picking up a low mileage LS6 from a CTS-V and was wondering if the standard T56 will bolt right up? I've read something about a flywheel difference and a required spacer but I think that is if you yous a CTS-V T56 with a standards LS1. That was after sifting through the search results.

Trying to save some money here so I'd prefer not to spend on a new clutch setup too if I can get one with the motor. Power will remain stock.

Lemme know.

Thanks,
Frank

CTSVs have dual mass flywheels. You need to change the flywheel and clutch to an f-body/vette style or you'll have to run the clutch and transmission from a CTSV to accommodate the extra thick flywheel. You can get the LS6 Z06 clutch/flywheel for a decent price.

Thanks. I've already got the trans, so I'll just pick up the Z06 clutch or do a LS7 setup.
