Hey Guys,

Ok dumb question,

I was goin to do a cam swap before I put the engine in the car, but I realized I need more than just a cam and push rods, I'll need injectors and a intake,etc

I bought a set of LS6 heads w/ manley dual springs. I was goin to bolt the heads up,and leave the stock cam in for a month or 2..maybe 3.

By then I'll have enough for injectors and a good tune. Along with a cam..

I only have enough in my budget for a LS6 intake or cam.

And the cam w/ heads will be choked down without a intake and injectors.

So I figured I will do the heads and intake,then in 3 months do the cam and injectors...

So my question is..will this work?

Also what are the opinions on a ported LS2? I may do that intake down the road

it's going to be alot easier to do the cam swap with the heads off. I would just wait. Do it all at once. I would get an ls6 intake over a ported ls2. That or wait for the warlock to come out.
