Default full manual 4l80e-stall wont lockup now

I have a 3500 vig stall on my 4l80e. When it was first installed the gears were changed manually by switches only, not automatically. The stall locked up at 50mph. I blew the trans and had it redone with full manual valve bodies and now the stall will not lockup. It feels like it 'stalls' a hell of a lot better, but, it will not lockup. Is there anything you can think of that would cause this? Is there a fix for it?

How was L/U being controlled previously?

I remember our discussions, but not that detail.

I am actually not positive. I know that the PCM could not control the shift sequences but I believe when it was tuned Ed did set a specific lockup speed for me. Before, it would lockup right around 45-48mph. Now, notta. Is it possible that the shop that did the work may have disconnected the electrical coming off the trans unit that controlled the stall lockup or could this be an actual issue with the converter itself?

You must have it plugged in and the pcm can make lockup with a fmvb
