New Level 2 Perfrombuilt Tranny install...
Let me start this with, holy ****!!!!!
I have done a tranny install before, and I know the pains that come with it... But today.. I guess luck was really not in my favor.
But over all, it was a pleasant feeling finally getting to actually give my car hell with the new cam, Before the old tranny was slipping some, and would go into limp mode..
My biggest pain in the *** today was the speed sensor... For some reason, when I went to put it back in, it was not totally flush and was not getting a good reading... After jacking the car up again, and burning my forearms allot. lol. I got it back in, But it seemed to not want to pick up a reading at all... So I took it out again, and cleaned everything as good as possible, as well as the port hole that it goes into.. Finally it went flush, and got a good reading..
Big thanks to Perfrombuilt for picking up there phone at 11 oclock there time, to answer my idiotic questions.
And also thanks to a local guy over here, that some of you might now, TwoFast4luv, As well as a new tech enthusiast that owns the 99 FRC I whipped up on before the cam install... lol He was a big help..
