Quick review of Sumitomo HTZ II tires.
Just put these on the Vette. Brand new, mount balance, and tax $659 from Tomzwheels in Belton, TX. (I believe they are a sponsor)
They handle good, a little sidewall squirm on intial turn in, but still good. They hook well on the dry, and they stick like glue in the rain! Seem really predictable. They are plenty quiet, and they ride really smooth.
My only complaint is that they seem to run kinda narrow. My 285's were skinnier than my old 275's, so be advised.
I really wanted the Goodyear GS D3's, but they just werent in my budget right now.
Just wanted to drop a line and tell everyone that if they are looking for a good BUDGET tire, these are certainly worth considering.
Good bang for the buck!
