She's Baaaaack! (Out of Hibernation w/ Pics)
Rolled the rear fender lips Saturday, washed the car up Sunday, and threw the wheels on today. The wheels have been off for nearly 6 months and the car has been in hibernation for over 3 months. Wanted to try a few new things so I took some pictures downtown on the way to class this afternoon.
1 - Different location and composition than my normal style
2 - Different lens than I normally use, first time using the 50/1.8 for automotive use
3 - More of my typical style, but taken with the 50/1.8 on this one
It needs a full detail and the wheels need to be polished up as they're a little hazy, but I still wanted to get some shots as I was very excited to have it back on the road in full force after being down for the winter since late November. Seriously, I was school girl giddy. Been a long while since I've been this excited about the GTO.
The shots above are the three that I think came out decent. Here are a few more to share just for kicks.
4 - THUMBNAIL, Click for larger size, Different composition style than my normal style again
5 - THUMBNAIL, Click for larger size, Different location than my normal style again
6 - THUMBNAIL, Click for larger size, 3" of lipped goodness...than needs a good polish job after sitting in storage for nearly 6 months now

Thanks guys.
It's a good feeling isn't it Andy? I don't have all the other badass cars you've got but there is something special about climbing back behind the wheel of a GTO after you haven't driven it in a while.
