I'm thinking of getting a mild steel 4-pt. from Wolfe for only about $220 w/ tax picked up (i live less then an hour away from Wolfe), thats a good deal, the El cheapo jegster 4-pt bar that cost $129 ends up being $240 after truck freight. And my friend say if i let him weld it in (he is a good welder and made a Roll Cage for a truck from scratch) he'd pay for half of it.. What do you guys think, any of you have one of their roll bars? if so can you show me pics of it and were exactly it welds to the floor? Also what exactly is Jig notching?

first of all a 4 point is not legal for anything in drag racing
secondly shipping through dhl would set you back maybe 40 bux
third if a guy wants to put it in for you AND pay for half... i say let him.

i know its not NHRA legal, i dont, plan on entering an events and my car's only good for 11.9x-12.1x anyway. just that i have RCI 3-in harnesses in my car and i need a safer place to bolt the shoulder strap to other then wear the rear seat belts mount to. If i do i ever brake 11.49 i can always get the side bars put in later...
And like i said, i live and hour away from wolfe so i would just pick it up.
And yea Hes a good guy and im not complaning about his deal;)
thanks
kevin
