Default For bird owners.

This thread is for those who need new headlight motor gears because they started to make some grinding noises, it is very easy to do the gear swap, here are a few pictures of the install, did it last weekend with gears made of bronze.
It is useless to buy new GM motors because they'll still leave you with the original problem: the cheap plastic gear.

Tried this on a buddy's car couldn't get the plastic part to come off!

It should come off easily, then clean it up and put the new gear in, works great like brand new.

I did the same thing, but after a few months even the brass gear got stripped.
