390 RWHP With These Mods?
With the C1 cam, lid, Hooker LT's, ORY, ported/polished TB/MAF, ASP pulley, and some LS1Edit tuning, I dyno'd 371/371. I have an LS6 intake going on, plus I'm going to port/polish my TB/MAF better. I didn't do a particularly good job my first time at it. Plus a buddy of mine is doing the tuning, as he learned a lot from an LS1 expert. So basically I'm hoping to pick up 19+ RWHP with these "mods". Is it doable?
What kind of times should my car run? With just a lid and catback, my best was 12.585 @ 111.60, and that was with 324 RWHP / 336 RWTQ. My raceweight was around 3500. I'm hoping for very low 12's, possibly high 11's, but I still have a stock rear end. Any ideas? Thanks in advance...

Let me know what you run. I've yet to run with drag radials, and have only 2 passes with this setup. The F1's spin on me like I'm driving on sheet ice all the way up to just before 4th gear shift- even w/ lots of clutch play on the launch. Don't even ask me for my time.
Ls1Edit tune on the dyno flushed out least 25 ponies that were hiding in there. Good luck! Keep us posted.

I do not think he needs a cutout. I did it almost 2 years ago with the T1 cam, mac headers, and Ed's tuning.. I was 390rwhp/380rwtq.. My car ran 12.28 at 116mph on 17 inch drag radials with a 2.0 60ft.. Raceweight was 3750lbs. Temp out was over 90 degrees.. Gears were stock 3.42's..

I already have an ASP crank pulley. The specs on the C1 are 222/222 .566/.566 112 LSA. I don't think I'd need a cutout to get there either. Anyone else want to give their opinion? Thanks for all who have replied so far...

If the guy is good at tuning, it might be possible...

you could do it in 3 steps. (Ive done 396 rwhp with a Hotcam and stock heads, so take note )
1. Better ORY. I had an Off forad Y,and I had Louis at LG build me a 2-3" into 1-4" custom Y-pipe. I picked up more than 10 hp and at places, 30 ft-lbs. Seriously. That was over and beyond the Grott Y-pipe.
2. LS6 intake. It was worth 14 hp to me, 20 to a friend. And its an easy mod with no drawbacks (other than no longer having 450$)
3. Either a MAF translator or custom tuning. Iprefer the tuning. Dont do it until you've done the above two, so that you can take advantage of them.
I think you'd be there on the dyno then. I dont know about 1/4 times. Stock headed M6 cars never did fly through the 1/4 like H/C cars did.
