I went to go get alignment done and they noticed that there is a leak in the power steering as well as both inner and outer tie rods damaged. i know where its leaking from but i would like to upgrade the whole rack and pinion as well as the tubes that run through power steering fluid. when i make sharp turns going les than 25 mph, lets say im backing out of a parking spot, i hear a tapping noise coming from the behind the tires on the front. i am just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if anyone has swapped their rack and pinion with the rods and if so what is best brand to get. im defintely not trying to get factory gm part i know they are expensive but i need good quality performance parts. please let me know if you know anything. thanks
