I have a 220psi pump from Snow and it has a sanoprene (sp?) diaphram and Viton valves. I keep reading where everyone is recommending EDPM valves. Well I called Shurflo and they are saying all three materials have an excellent rating for methanol resistance however the Viton valves are twice as much as the EDPM valves so the only reason I can think everyone is pushing them is to make their kit's cheaper...no?
The Shurflo tech said I have the best seals in mine right now and to leave them....anyone disagree?
FWIW I am having zero (knock on wood) pump issues but just want to prevent anything from failing while the car is down.

Personally, I would go with what the ShurFlo tech said and not sweat it.
